Why don't you accept all insurances?

 

For NC and NY residents, I accept BCBS of NC, Aetna, Cigna, and UHC (NY only). I have chosen not to accept other insurances for various reasons. One of the main advantages for you, as the client, is getting more control over your treatment. Without insurance, we are able to offer more personalized care and focus on your specific needs, rather than being limited by insurance requirements. Additionally, you may have more privacy and confidentiality without insurance involvement.

 

What is a superbill?

 

A superbill is a document that lists services provided to a patient, including the date, cost, and provider's information. We provide the superbill so that you can submit claims to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

You are entitled to a "Good Faith Estimate". All providers must give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
